Young Women's Representatives - Wanted!
Attention YOUNG WOMEN IN CHRIST! Our English District is looking for one or two women, ages 22-35, to participate as young woman representative(s) (YWR’s) for the Omaha Convention June 26-29th, 2025. This is an opportunity to grow your faith in Christ with other young women. The world can be a crazy place, and we can all gain value from having a Christ driven support system.
The Lutheran Women in Mission’s YWR program helps to build relationships around the country while encouraging women to spread God’s Word. As we know, God’s promise is what helps us get through difficult times and enjoy the good times. “For surely I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans for your welfare and not for harm, to give you a future with hope.” Jeremiah 29:11. You will learn ways to encourage others through Christ, while growing your relationship with our Lord.
You will also appreciate the impact our LWML has on so many amazing people throughout the world. It brings into perspective what one little mustard seed, or mite donation, can accomplish with Christ’s blessing. “I am the vine, you are the branches. Those who abide in me and I in them bear much fruit, because apart from me you can do nothing.” John 15:5
At the Omaha Convention, YWRs participate in various activities including Bible studies, gifts from the heart, breakout sessions, get to know our district president, hear from the organizations we support with our mites, enjoy amazing church services and some fun entertainment.
If you have any questions, you may visit the lwml.org website: click fellowship then the link for young women in mission. Please do not hesitate to contact your district president or myself with any other questions. My email is: [email protected]
Your Sister in Christ.
